Athletics Career Highlights
Vivian Cheruiyot, Kenya Born : 1983 in Keiyo District, Kenya. Currently the dominant women's long distance runner. She is able to sustain a high pace throughout a race and finish off with a devastating kick at the finish. She completed the 5,000 metres and 10,000 metres double at the Daegu World Championships and in so doing retained the 5,000 metres title she had won in Berlin.
