Athletics Career Highlights
Seb Coe , Great Britain Born : 1956 in London. Seb was world record holder in 800 Metres and yet won 2 consecutive 1500 Metres Olympic gold medals. His rivalry with Steve Ovett held British athletic fans spellbound culminating in a 10 day period in August 1981 when Coe set the 1 Mile world record of 3.48.53 only for Ovett to break inside a week. Coe regained the record at 3.47.53 days later.
