Athletics Career Highlights
Dwight Phillips, USA Born : 1977 in Decatur Georgia. For a period of 3 years he was best long jumper in the world . Double World Champion and Olympic gold medal winner in Athens. He had the talent to challenge the world record but a slump in form saw him overtaken but in 2009 he returned to World No1 status with a third World Championship. Recent injuries have taken their toll but at the age of 33 he won his 4th World title.
