Motor Racing Career Highlights
Fernando Alonso, Spain Born : 1981 in Oviedo. At 25 he was the youngest ever double World Champion. With Michael Schumacher's retirement he took on the mantle of Grand Prix racing's No 1 driver. With the ability to drive very quickly and error free, he has enabled Renault to successfully challenge the might of Ferrari. Over the last few years his career has dipped with an unsuccessful move to McLaren and back again to Renault. In 2010 a move to Ferrari saw an upturn in his fortunes.
