Franz Klammer, Austria Born 1953 in Mooswald, Austria. A hard charging downhill specialist who became the darling of the fans in th mid 1970`s and in 1975 won 8 out of 9 races. Winner of the 1976 Olympic downhill gold and 5 World Cup downhill titles.
