Swimming Career Highlights
Rebecca Adlington, Great Britain Born :1989 on Mansfield, Adlington is a middle distance Freestyle swimmer who burst on the the world scene with a double Gold in the Beijing Olympics in the 400 metres and 800 metres. In the 800 metres she broke the 19 year old world record of Janet Evans. After a couple of relatively lean years she returned to form in the 2011 World Championships winning the 800 metre title.
