Ian Crocker , USA Born : 1982 in Portland, Maine. Specialist in 100 metres Butterfly, he has had to contend with the competition from superstar Michael Phelps. However he continues to hold the world record and despite defeat at the Athens Olympics, he reclaimed No 1 at the 2005 World Championships.
