Swimming Career Highlights
Aaron Peirsol, USA Born : 1983 in Irvine, California. World's leading backstroker and winner of the 100 metres and 200 metres at the Athens Olympics. Peirsol is also current world record holder in 100 and 200 metres .His long unbeaten streak in 200 metres races came to an end when it took a new world record to defeat him. He retained his 100 metres Olympic title in Beijing and lowered his own world record. In 2009 he regained his world 200 metres title.
